INRAD is a manufacturer and distributor of medical devices serving the Radiology and biopsy markets worldwide. Our mission is to help reduce the uncertainty in diagnosis by providing devices that offer more precision to the practitioner.

INRAD’s products began in 1981 as a part of DLP, Inc. in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The INRAD name went on the division in 1986. During 1994 DLP and INRAD were acquired by Medtronic, Inc., and in 1997 INRAD divested from Medtronic. INRAD is now back to its roots of serving the Radiology and biopsy markets where we have made many friends over nearly 20 years.

Amedic Support Kit for Quick Clip™ from Acuson

The Amedic provides disposable procedure kits for the Quik Clip™ series of needle guide systems from Acuson. The sterile transducer cover (latex free) is put on the transducer first, then the Quik Clip™ adapter is attached over the transducer cover. An appropriate guide pin is chosen from the barrel tree that supports six different needle sizes, which is also included in the procedure package.

No Forward Throw

The PreciseCore™ needle does not advance when fired. Once positioned in the target area the device is armed, which draws back the outer cannula while the stylet remains stationary. This design offers precision and reduces the threat of damage to deeper tissue.

PreSet™ Core Biopsy Needle

The pre-set hub design of this unique core biopsy needle allows for the precise placement of the needle – without the need and added cost of a larger diameter coaxial needle. This light-weight needle can be positioned accurately prior to the attachment of the gun. The inner stylet and outer cannula hubs lock together and maintain the correct spacing so the gun may be easily attached after the needle is in place.
